Read a disturbing newspaper article about a 22 years old guy who meticulously planned to kill his ex girlfriend in Hong Kong by stabbing her during her sleep. Apparently, the guy is an avid rock climber. Got into the building when the guard wasn't looking in the middle of the night, he rode to the 25th floor where he used his rock climbing skills to dangle, swing and land at the crime scene. He effortlessly got into the house and stabbed the 22 years old girl 9 times with the knife he brought.
When he was spotted by the girl's mother after she heard her daughter's scream, the suspect calmly went out the window and abseil down the building and fled.
There are psychos are out there who would do anything to destroy someone else's life. 'If I can't have it, you can't either'. So why doesn't he stalk her, find out her new boyfriend and stab him as well? Why only the girl? That aside, how could love turn into hatred? If you love somebody so much, wouldn't you want him/her to be happy, regardless of whether you are "the one" or not.
You might have some terrible days after the break up, but come on, it's over. Get over it. The world still goes on, life still goes on. Be grateful that you have loved and be loved once before, because not everyone is as lucky as you are.
