Dream File 0006-AA

There were two married couples who were friends. The first couple was looking for the house. The second couple has an evil plan to buy the first couple's home for cheap. So they offered their house to the first couple for a 'bargain' price of $68 million dollars. They were chatting in the second couple's study.

The first couple was grateful for the offer, complimenting on how good the house was and how cheap it was, etc. The husband said something like, "I don't know how to repay you". It was then that the second husband dropped the bombshell by saying, "How about your house?"

It was a shock to the first couple because it sounded as though the second couple wanted the same kind of treatment (i.e. cheap house). Their house worth more than the second couple's house, but now they are trapped after talking so much about how cheap the $68 million house was. If they refused, it made them look bad for not returning the favour, but if they do, they will lose the house. A 'damn if they do, damn if they don't' situation.

Then the first husband went on to say how a freeway is going to be built in his suburb and how it would push up the prices of house and that his house was worth nothing less than $100 million. In other words, they wanted more money for their house.

So, who is more evil? The first couple for not returning the favour, or the second pair for offering their house for cheap, and then expect the same from the first pair?
